Dude. We have these bigass cicadas here in Texas, and I’ve always wanted to draw one.
For this epic Foo Fighters taping for the long-running TV show, I turned one of those chattery mofos into a GD space ship. Hand-drawn type for the band name.
After screen printing both green tones and black, we overprinted clear gloss on the wings and headlights, with a drop of white ink in it to give that translucent effect.
