Artist Bio

Casey Burns is an artist, designer, and art director with work in permanent collections at Poster House in New York City and the Southern Folklife Collection at UNC Chapel Hill. He was the first in-house art director at Frank Heath’s legendary Cat’s Cradle music venue, and art directed the critically acclaimed magazine of literature and rock and roll, Radio Silence. His clients include Patti Smith, Avett Brothers, Sonic Youth, Spoon, Mo Willems, The New York Times, Substack Inc., Grantland, Nike, Dr. Martens, Olipop, Mondo, DC Comics, and numerous leading advertising agencies, publishers, and record labels.
