Detroit artist De’Mone Davis creates politically charged prints influenced by Emory Douglas and social realism, and the traditions of Black art history. Working through silkscreen, linocut, and letterpress, Davis blends pop culture with the visual language of community centered propaganda. Their work reimagines printmaking as a tool for unity and awareness using craft, culture, and historical influence to open conversations about freedom, equity, and the world we build together.
