
Artist Bio
Tavo, known as Garavato, is a renowned Colombian illustrator and urban artist based in Bogotá. With 19 years of experience, he has combined his passions for music and activism, founding his design studio in 2013 and co-founding the printing workshop Editor Felino in 2021, which specializes in screen printing and linocut. A trailblazer in the realm of concert posters in Colombia, his work has garnered international acclaim, collaborating with brands such as Dr. Martens, Wacom, Levi’s, Grolsch, Virgin Mobile, Rolling Stone Magazine, and Gibson. His self-management philosophy, grounded in the principle of “Do it yourself,” enables him to support social causes and collaborate with foundations for victims of armed conflict, bringing his works to significant collections and museums in Bogotá, Mexico City and Hamburg.
