
Artist Bio
Jayes Caitlin (born 1988, Portland OR) is an abstract artist, designer, curator, educator, and master printer. She has a BFA from The School of The Art Institute of Chicago. Caitlin runs the design studio Heavy Gel, specializing in silk-screened concert posters. She currently sits on the advisory board of The Poster Institute, and is a West Coast distributor for RISO.
Most recently, Jayes has relocated back to her hometown of Portland OR, after 17 years in Chicago and Los Angeles. She just opened a PNW division of RISO Studio Arts, which operates as a gallery, print studio, artist residency, and showroom, in tandem with an LA location.
